Ninja Rules!

If you let me choose between being a Samurai and Ninja, I will definitely choose Ninja! Cos they just rock man!!!
Don't get me wrong, Samurai is cool too. They are just too "heavy" with their armor etc, overly loyal and too inflexible. Unlike Ninja, they are flexible, agile, silent, swift... creatures of the night. Well they operate better in the nights anyways. But of cos, good ninjas operate well in whatever conditions they are in!

Talking about Ninja reminds me of Naruto! Got to know this anime from Pei Pei while working in Silicon Illusions. Grab the first issue and read it, it was funny and thought nothing much about it. Until recently, I got to watch the anime on cable channel 56. Suddenly I am in love with Ninja all over again. Even in FF, I play the job of a Ninja.

Being a Ninja takes as much discipline as being a Samurai, maybe more. And with their many levels of ninjistu, it just makes it more difficult to be a successful Ninja.

In Naruto, there is different level of Ninjas.

There is

"Huo Ying", "Shui Ying" etc
(translate: Fire Shadow, Water Shadow) The five elements Water, Fire, Earth, Air, another one I forgot what element it is.. maybe is Dark element.
It's is the highest rank of Ninja.

"Shang Ren"
Second highest rank of Ninja.

"Zhong Ren"
Third rank of Ninja.

"Xia Ren"
Lowest rank of a Ninja.

Story about Naruto:

Naruto is an orphan and since he embodies the spirit of a nine-tail demon fox that destroyed many Leaf Village lives 12 years ago, the village people treats him as the nine-tail demon fox and all act very cold toward him. Growing up without parents and any friends, Naruto always tries to be funny and mess up on purpose in order to get attention. Although Naruto's grades at the the Ninja Academy is extremely bad, he trains very hard in order to improve his skills. Naruto later paired up with Sakura and Sasuke to train with Kakashi. Naruto has a crush on Sakura, but unfortunately, Sakura's heart has already been taken by Sasuke.

It's really an interesting anime and very popular in Japan. ^^

Oh there is one more thing about it... that is the ending song of the first season of Naruto. It's very nice!
It's sung and written by Akeboshi. He has a very unique way to sing the song. Love it. And he sung it in english! Ahem! Very few japanese sung songs in english.
