26th June 2006

On the 26th of June 2006, I'm simply just taking a break at home! Because I purposely took leave on that day just to let myself off from work! =P During evening time, Jay promised me a treat at this Japanese restaurant, quite like their desserts and food there... So yummy... XD

On the 27th of June, I went back to work and there on my table... I saw a huge box! That gift was from Pei pei, Jean and Monica! =) Then near to lunch time, MC handed me this brown paperbag. It was a birthday gift from all the colleagues at SS! =)

YES! A digital weighing machine!!! Hahahah! XD It's better than those that needed to use scales as it would be more accurate! I always complain to Pei pei that I didn't have one so they had decided to give me one as a birthday present! It's a very stylish weighing machine I must say! ;) I love it!

Colleagues wishes and signatures inside ^^

Actually MC did sound me out on what I want... But i never ever thought that she would buy me an Adidas jacket at all. She kept saying stuff like "Someone so rich can buy such an expensive jacket leh!" So who would have thought she would buy me this? Actually I did not want to buy an Adidas jacket at all... -__- All I did was just say that I like this particular jacket designed by Missy Elliot! It's the blue one that we saw at the Adidas Concept Store at The Cathay, Gwen and Zen! Then that time, I still didn't know they were planning to buy me a present.

MC actually went down to the store and she saw the jacket I liked. She commented that the jacket I like, the material like towel and it looks ugly... -___- Hello individual preference lo! And then she can somemore say that this jacket they gave me as birthday present, she really looked for a long time, she saw many jackets and all were so ugly but when she saw this, she immediately like it! I was like erm... this jacket you liked it leh not I LIKE IT leh... She got tried on the jacket and thought it looked really good "on her". @_@ She told me that.

How come you pick someone present according to your own taste and liking when the present was actually for that person? It's not that I want to complain but that is simply too much isn't it? Since it's a present from the colleagues so I am really really happy and touched! As I never even dream that they will give me a present at all! But still... I felt this present was more for like her not for me leh... Don't you all agree with me?
Oh ya! I'm quite touched and surprised that TS the receptionist did chip in some money to buy my present! =) I never thought she would chip in! So sweet of her! =)
I can wear the jacket but when I need to zip it up, it looks very tight! Time to lose some weight man! Talking about losing weight.. I will continue on my next blog...

Pei pei was actually quite envious that the colleagues gave me a birthday present and nothing to her =( I felt quite bad about it man... But I thought about it, it was actually MC's initiative that I could get this present. If she wasn't there, I would think no one would bother to ask who wanted to share to buy a present for me. Sometimes she can be a real bitch, sometimes she can be a real nice person... Why must she be like that? How I wish she can just be a nice person forever!!! =((

So my birthday ended this way! I wouldn't say it was the best birthday I ever had! But it was definitely not a bad one! Not without all my close friends giving me such wonderful presents and wishes! I am blessed! Thanks all! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
