Nintendo DS Lite!

The reason why I wrote this blog is because day & night I dream of it... I cannot put a rest to it if I do not pour out my feelings! XD
My office recently stirred up this trend - Nintendo DS! Quite a few colleagues are interested to buy it.

It started out with 2 colleagues. One is MY from animation dept. The other is PR from vfx dept. They both own a Nintendo DS. MY was like promoting to me, IR and IR2 (there are 2 IRs in our office! One is from my dept, the other is from animation dept.) She was showing us how cool the handheld console was. Like you can play using this technology call WiFi to connect to overseas. So you can play with other people on the other side of the world!

There is this game call Animal Crossing: Wild World where you are a human living in a town and all your neighbours are animals. Then you must make friends with them and sometimes they will move out of the neighbourhood, you will have to make them stay! If you opened the WiFi connection, you get to visit your friend's town, or they can come and visit your town!

There is one very cool thing about Animal Crossing! There is this item you can buy from a shopkeeper in the game. The item is Message in a Bottle. You can write a message on the paper then toss it into the bottle, open your Wifi connection then you go to the beach and throw the bottle into the sea! The bottle will float away and it might just float into some other stranger's sea (with their Wifi connection on). Then they get to read what you wrote to them! XD But unfortunately they can't reply to your message. But isn't the idea romantic? Haha ^^
Or you can just scold them, vent out your stress. Something like...

"Hello!
Go to hell!
XXX"

Something like that? XD

And then the coolest thing about Nintendo DS is you can actually scan for other people's console so you can play together! If you are playing Mario Kart, then you can race against each other! Then there is Resident Evil: Deadly Silence where you can play together to escape the mansion or you can compete against each other to see who escape the mansion first.

I think why I want to buy it is because alot of my colleagues are buying and we can all play together! It will be quite fun! XD Yday I showed agwen some of the Nintendo DS consoles like which one is nice, the colors and all.. But all those are DS version. I'm thinking of getting DS Lite version. As agwen didn't see these version of colors, I think she won't think these series of blues are cheapskate looking eh? Agwen, how? The blue colors still look cheapskate? Cos I might get blue, I scare white will get dirty!!! >_< How? But between the 2 blues... which one is better looking? I don't think the 2 blues look cheap. I like ice blue but navy blue looks so sophisticated that I can't resist it.. damn it! Hahaha. Helen, Zen and Agwen, what are your thoughts?

I'm going to be dead broke... May, I still got Dr Georgia Lee to see for the IPL treatment for the face... And the duromine pills? So freaking expensive! T_T

A Blog dedicated to Pei Pei

(continuation from last blog...)

But today... I realise something wonderful.

I went to meet Jean and Monica for dinner along with Pei Pei. After the dinner we went into 37 Degree or whatever shop that is. Then we started to talk about the T-Shirt Competition. And Pei Pei revealed to me that SHE ACTUALLY VOTED FOR ME! Upon hearing it, I was so shocked and touched! Cos never in a million years, I would think that she will vote for me. NEVER! She said she genuinely like my design. No matter whether she voted for me because I'm her friend or she genuinely like my design, I am truly touched! And before that, I did think if Pei Pei voted for my design I would have kiss her on the cheek! It's just the ang mo way of saying thank you when you are so happy and touched you know? ^^
And remember I said that even if only one person in the company likes my design, I will die happy. I really nv dream that it will be Pei Pei.

Maybe I was too judgemental about her the past years or maybe she has changed over the years. I don't which is which or maybe both things had happened. But I just don't want to gossip behind her back anymore. She might not be the perfect friend who will always be there to listen to my complains(in fact I am the one who is always there for her when she is really sad...) or she can debate about things with me but indeed she is someone who is loyal to me. Loyalty is all I asked from someone who is call a friend. A friend who will come to my defense when I'm being mocked. Not insults or hurtful jokes.

I now truly believe something. Sometimes, when you think you know a person so well that you think she/he is such a great person but in time, certain things or actions they do will help you see their true colors.

First bad encounter in SS ~ 19th of April 2006

Finally I encounter the first bad day in this company! I guess nothing is a bed of roses anywhere or anything. I guess partly is because of my own ego and pride. But also partly is because of one of the colleague there. As I've mentioned earlier in my blog. Her initial is ML.

Last blog I mentioned about the T-shirt competition. Actually I was quite excited about this thing. And I thought my design isn't bad. At least I think that it looked ok. On the day which is the 19th of April 2006, when all entries were in, it was time to review the 11 entries that were submitted. I went over to my leader JS place as he wanted to open them to see. ML was there too. JS and ML can give very sarcastic remarks. So one by one they open the file and looked, as they went along looking, they kept criticising about people's work, like "wow this tshirt too loud, cannot wear one la." etc etc... Criticised finished one work, they giggled.

My entry was the last one. And they opened it and after looking at it they immediately criticised, "Waaa this one also cannot la, the design so big, I don't dare to wear it out. And the logo so big?" Then they made some joke about the logo being so big etc, etc. And they giggled. Then I told them that the design was mine after they finished criticising. When they knew it was my design, they burst out laughing. I don't know whether they were laughing at my designs, or were embarrassed about the fact that they made jokes about my design. I was quite hurt inside. As I was saying, I did not think my design was that bad. I admit that the logo was too big. Another thing is that I found that among the 11 designs, most of them design something that is small in size and put at the top middle of the T-shirt. I think it was quite boring. At least mine was different from the others.

After that, ML went over to IR side to go through the designs with her AGAIN~ Then IR was browsing through my entry. And she said she really liked my designs. She actually liked it the most among all the entries. I'm quite happy that at least she liked it! Because... Her designs were the one that alot of people in the colleagues voted for. Her designs were like the ones that were put in the top middle. I think her designs were not bad though. And then ML continued to make fun of my T-shirt design saying "If somebody wear your T-shirt design, from far far away I can see our company logo already la!" *follow by giggles and laughs* continuing... "I know you are still under probation, but you no need to be so desperate right? Put the company logo so big for what? You want the 100 dollars I know I know." Then JS our leader passed by and also joined in to tease me. =( Then ML kept continue to make fun of me and my big logo. I was very upset by then.

In the end I voted for CT's(from design dept) design. It was quite cute and it fits the theme of the animation. I actually would have voted for IR's design but since Ms Bitchy won't keep her mouth shut. I just don't want to vote for what she likes. And she actually vote grey t-shirt with the design and added this comment ,"Grey is the IN color of this season leh you know anything or not!" when I said grey is like quite wierd to match with jeans. I really don't know anything about fashion and what color is in or not.

But is GREY really the IN color for this season?

From what I know, ML initally worked as an IT programmer... and she was highly recommended by M(the cute guy who is a DJ). JS commented that her portfolio is only... O.K.
So, ML, portfolio is only OK and didn't even take part in the T-shirt design when initially she was the one who said "I want to take part!" so enthusiastically. SO... what gives her the right to laugh and criticise other people's works? She didn't laugh at my work alone but almost laugh at every other people's works except for IR's as she LOVES it sooooooo much.

And don't get me started about my lead JS... He laughed finished already then when he found out that the designs were mine, he tried to salvage what was left between the 2 of us. I think he just wanted to try to make things not so bad for me so I won't bear grudges at him. But that's so hypocritical! Although he wasn't as bad as ML, I'm starting to dislike him. Just because he is so PR! And I will never ever forget his expression when he found out it was my designs. Do I sound like I wanted to take revenge?

Then came the next bad thing that happened. KH(the technical director) wanted something quite urgently. The task was assigned to me during noon 2pm, unfortunately I couldn't finish it at 6pm when it was time for him to go for his jogging session, then he asked JS to do the job cos obviously he has more exp than me DUH! After the earlier pride attacks, I felt that my morale had hit pit bottom. I felt that I'm so incompetent. JS trying to act like a gentleman said that the task given to me was not an easy job and he said "Nvm I do, you go jogging with them." I can't help feeling that he is just trying to act like a good man cos after he tease me already, he felt guilty or something. But what you said, you can't take back. Then when KH came back from his jogging trip, he told me that he was sorry and asked me whether did he hurt my pride etc etc. But I told him it's understandable and all. Then JS walked pass us and told him that I cried etc etc... -___- Please do i look that weak?! I did kind of feel like crying when ML keep making fun of me but I got to keep a brave funny front.

Maybe I'm just making a hill out of a... there is this phrase but I have forgotten about it. Can anyone correct me? Thanks! XD
But I can only take a limit of hurtful jokes and insults. And maybe like what Helen said, I need to stand up for myself which I'm quite bad at it. Especially when Ms Bitchy has somebody like JS the lead to back her up and laugh about my designs.

That day was the worst day in this company SO FAR...

ps: JD who last time used my name to postpone the T-Shirt design competition didn't submit his design. But he didn't make fun or criticise other people's works like ML did. At least JD knows where he stands.

Holiday Over too soon!~

I was having such a nice time the past week.. everyday woke up looking forward to go to work because that particular week was kept short and sweet for Good Friday! *hurray* XD

Now good time always fly passes so quickly! Tomorrow is MONDAY... working day... another week!! Snap! I'm having Monday Blues typing this. Anyway I do not have anything to blog actually. Just want to whine that long weekend passes so fast! =p

Over the weekend, I finished up the stupid T-shirt Design for the company competiton. I sent it over.. and now I hope that no one will comment it look stupid or something. I just hope at least one person in the company will like it, even if I do not win this thing, I will die happy! Afterall, I did put in some effort to do the vector graphics of Bill and Corky. @_@

This is 2 of the designs I did. I did 4 designs in total. Of which 2 are with colours while the other 2 are just monotone colours. By posting the 2 designs here obviously with the logo on the T-shirt, I expose myself to the dangers of getting fired, being an outcast in the office, as I wrote so many bad things about the colleagues there.

Ok... now is 12 midnight, I should not be here typing rubbish! Instead I should be doing some digital painting practises! Hahaha! Ok... now now I will update you all who won the T-Shirt Design Competition next weekend!

Oh ya before I forget to mention... i'm utterly broke!!! 2 weeks to survive through and i'm left with only so little money left! Plus I got a doctor appointment tomorrow which is quite costly! How I wish this month will just pass by quickly!!!

Tristan & Isolde

Over the week, I watched Tristan & Isolde with agwen at The Cathay. I have never been to The Cathay situated just nearby Plaza Sing. I am quite impressed by the place. Even the seats are bigger, like once you are seated, there are still extra place for you to fling your arms around. I bought sweet corn to eat! HMMMMMMM... it's so nice! Although the last part of it was so salty, it was so nice! Nice and expensive... it cost $2.50... for just the freaking cup of corn which I have finished it 1/4 into the movie...but it was nice la! So much nicer than the one they selling at Cineleisure!

The movie motto is Before Romeo & Juliet, There Was Tristan + Isolde.

It's about this 2 star crossed lovers, Tristan, from England through some complications(I rather not spoil the movie here for you.) ended up on Ireland side. England and Ireland are just separated by a sea, well that's what the movie show anyway. Isolde the Ireland princess, somehow saved Tristan from some major injuries and they slowly fell in love...Isolde at this point did not tell Tristan that she is Isolde the princess of Ireland, instead she lied to Tristan saying that she is Bragnae(it's actually her maid's name..) and that she was a maid-in-waiting working in the court. England and Ireland were enemies at that time so Mr Ireland King being the smart aleck wanted to hold a tournament to see among the England states, who was the strongest and who could submerge as a winner, could win his daughter(that is Isolde) hand in marriage. And of course Tristan won but in the honour of King Marke(a sweetie). That lead to some messy business here...

Yup that's the gist about the movie... I'm sorry i'm a terrible story teller... I think the movie was quite alright... One thing about Isolde, I kept seeing her as Keira Knightley. I know she doesn't really look like her but I keep thinking that's Keira on the big screen... Don't ask me why... Maybe the "look" they both have?

After the movie, me and agwen went to Coffee Club to have our dinner cum supper... er... before the movie started, agwen asked me where should we all have our dinner and I actually said Coffee Bean... Haha... Then while taking the lift, she asked me Coffee Bean haven't open yet right? I was ya i think so... then after that she said aren't we having dinner at Coffee Bean? So in the end, i'm the blur sotong who told her we will have dinner at Coffee Bean but what I meant is Coffee Club!
I order carbonara and she order spagehtti bolognese.. dunno how to spell properly... and we discussed on whether she should take up the job offer. She was having quite a dilemma over it. But I guess now it is all final! She is going to take it! I'm happy for her!

Seeing that all my friends got their job without being months of being jobless makes me wonder am I incapable in any ways??? Cos I'm the one who always have a very DIFFICULT time finding jobs... I am the one who is always jobless for min 3 months - max 6 months. I'm the one who always depend on my friends to give me lobangs or keeping a lookout for me...

Am I really that incapable???

Cave of the Golden Rose

Growing up in the 80's sure has its benefits! Especially there are so many nice nice shows on tv which indirectly become part of my memories.

Alright... I wonder do any of you remember this show called Cave of the Golden Rose? It has the same feel of Neverending Story. This story is about a princess who is very spunky and has a character of her own. While her 2 elder sisters are those dasmel in distress who wanted to marry off soon kind of girl, in another words abit bimbo? =p She has a never-say-die spirit and always has a golden heart, always helping the good and weak against the evil. She even help reform many bad people with her ways of doing things! She also believe that the good will always triumph over the evil! She is my role model when i'm young! =p Channel 5 always run this show during 1995-1996. And her name is Fantaghiro!

Still no recollection? Anyway Cave of the Golden Rose has 5 sequels of which part 5 isn't available in english so Channel 5 didn't run it on tv. Cave of the Golden Rose is originally an Italian tv-mini series. Here is the synopsis of the 4 different parts which I extract from a website.

Cave of the Golden Rose:
When King Romualdo first met princess Fantaghiro in a forest, he immediately fell in love with her. However, she was frightened and ran away. Since King Romualdo only saw her eyes, he try to find the woman with those beautiful eyes. Later on, as King Romualdo challenges his enemy kingdom to fight a duel to end the war, Fantaghiro was sent to accept the challenge due to prophecy.
However, Fantaghiro cannot reveal herself as woman. Therefore, she cut her hair and dress like a man. When Romualdo saw her later, he somehow recognize her beautiful eyes. However, she dress like a knight and that makes Romualdo uncertain whether she is his love or not. Therefore, he do all kinds of tricks to find out whether she is a knight or the woman he saw in the forest.
Later on, Fantaghiro also fell in love with King Romualdo, but her sense of duty to fight the duel is stronger. Will they fight in the duel until one of them died? Will the war ends? How could Fantaghiro survive Romualdo's challenge?

Cave of the Golden Rose 2:
Fantaghiro and Romualdo was about to marry when suddenly the Dark Witch interrupted them. The Dark Witch kidnapped the father king and force King Romualdo to start a war. During the war, the Dark Witch turned herself into Fantaghiro and made Romualdo kissed her. As a result, Romualdo was under her control.
Now, Fantaghiro have to fight against her own love, Romualdo. However, she couldn't attack Romualdo as she love him very much and she also cannot let herself to be killed by him. What will she do next? How can her defeat the Dark Witch?

Cave of the Golden Rose 3:
Romualdo became the victim of Tarabas evil spell and was turned into a stone. In order to restore him, Fantaghiro has to get an "impossible kiss", that is to kiss Tarabas. However, any woman who kiss Tarabas will turn him into a beast and that woman will be devoured. Fantaghiro eventually found Tarabas and is willing to kiss him even though she hated him so much, because she wants to restore her love, Romualdo. However, Tarabas demanded her to marry him in order to earn that "impossible kiss". Will she survive the beast? How could she escape the marriage with Tarabas?

Cave of the Golden Rose 4:
Darken casted a black cloud that took away many castles, including Fantaghiro's one. Therefore, Fantaghiro has to join Prince Parsel to find her castle back. During her journey, she met Tarabas, who was about to engage Rufus in a duel, because Tarabas was accused for casting the black cloud. She rescued Tarabas and together, they travel to find Darken.
Finally, they found Darken, but was imprisoned by him. Darken tried all kinds of bad tricks to force Tarabas to go back to evil. Will Tarabas become wicked again? Can Fantaghiro beat Darken? Will the castle be rescued?

I personally feel that part 1 is the best. The sequels storyline are getting more and more cheesy. (but I like to see Fantaghiro acting so righteous in every part of the show, it's just so inspiring even though the story become anyhow in later parts!) Feels like they just want to anyhow fill in the plots to make the seqeuls work. I won't vouch that Cave of the Golden Rose has deep plots and all but it's is nice, motivational and straight forward. Good against Evil and love.

I'm sorry I can't find more picture of her as there isn't much on the net. And these pictures doesn't do her any justice as she is really pretty in the movie!!! Even Iszy(ccnp) had a crush on her when he was young! XD Left top is her when she has to act as a male to hide her princess identity. Right top is her in black armor. Below left is when she still has long hair but wasn't cut off by the cropping and the below right is when she is about to marry Romualdo I think.

Tarabas:

Tarabas's love interest is Fantaghiro and he is initially a evil person, he put a curse on Romualdo. At the later stage, he slowly he falls in love with Fantaghiro as he is moved by Fantaghiro's kind act. He is the dark prince.

Misc Characters:

This woman appears in the first part of Cave of the Golden Rose. She appears to be some guardian of some forest who helps Fantaghiro. I like her image it just like she was created out of those fairy tales! =D

There are other characters but I don't think it's necessary to put it here hehehe...

Recently I have found a website that sells this series dubbed in english. Previously I found that Germany Amazon.com sells them but it's all in italian with dutch subtitles (so stupid >_<) but it's original and cost wise is reasonable. The one i found recently sell it in english dubbed!!! But then as discussed with helen, they sell the series in DVDR..... -____-"" which means they ripped it from somewhere.... therefore it meant that the series is PIRATED isn't it... and the cost is eur 170. Which means it cost SGD340!!! That's so expensive for pirated isn't it? And what if the Singapore customs found out it's pirated and sued me??? =( What am I suppose to do? I need advice!!!

Should I just buy the pirated one with sky rocket high prices, taking a gamble and risk seeing low quality show and getting sued or should I buy from Germany Amazon with resonable price and originality but I won't be understanding a word they say as it's all in freaking italian?

I found one VHS cover on amazon.com which show a very pretty picture of Fantaghiro and Romualdo hahaha and the White Witch and Fantaghiro's father!

Jiggy and a Diary...

Ok I'm going to post a few blogs on the same day as I don't have much time to blog during weekdays because when I reached home, it's pretty late and I'm tired.

Lately I have been reading a book call The Diary of Young Girl Anne Frank. It's about this Jewish teenager call Anne Frank during world war II how she and her family and friends went into hiding to escape the clutches of racism. This diary is a true account. In the diary she mentioned her everyday life in the hiding place. I found out that she and I have something in common.. it's about our mother. Like me we couldn't relate to our mother much, we couldn't talk to our mother about our innermost feelings or confide in her.. We both thought our moms are insensitive and uncaring. And Anne's mother always side with Margot(her elder sister) in some situations which remind of me and my brother. And also at later part where she was 14 year old, she did talked about her feelings towards another guy in the hiding place. Somehow at 14, I felt that way too =)
Poor Anne died in the end as they were caught by the Germans. The only surviving member is his father. =(

And also, I have been doing a 300 pcs jigsaw puzzle. =) The title of the jigsaw puzzle is Petite Marie, hehehe it's cute isn't it? =) The pic is a small little girl trying to fit in her mom's high heels. Doesn't it remind you of your childhood days? It's only 300 pcs so it is not a very difficult task. Only the part where the wall is, is difficult as the colors all the same. ~___~



Now all I need is a frame man... hahaha cos i'm just leaving the poor jigsaw puzzle around on my room's floor!

And yesterday, I just went to Mat's company to get my Papillio! Finally man!!! Oh his company has just moved and the new office is really nice! But it's freezing inside! And they said that once only him and another account exe is in the office late in the night, Mat went to the toilet, the account exe can hear the chairs moving sound in the office.... *shiver*


my thoughts: I think the picture online is better looking than when I saw it in real life. Maybe is due to the lighting and good photography skills XD

Mat said he want to order a second round of birkies. So Gwen you have chance to order too! Hehe interested?

Ok last but not least! It's about Long Mao that helen sent to me! One day, while me and AV were so bored we let Long Mao listen to some music.

Oh Helen, actually this blue color long mao is Totoro's friend. Totoro is the huge, grey long mao. Compare to Totoro, he is small in size! Hehehe. And the bag he is carrying is NUTS! And only children can see Totoro and his friends. They are the guardians of the area where the kids live in. The story is about these 2 kids, their mommy is very sick and not by their side then I dunno why and how did the story goes. I forgotten already. And he actually gives some nuts to plant some trees in their backyard. The story is quite sweet. =)

Kindred: The Embraced

Hurrrrrrray!!! Finally my Kindred: The Embraced dvd has safely arrived! My preciiiiousssssssssssss.... Hehehehe! Luckily the postman send it to my residence on Thursday which is my momsy off day! =D

It's a short-lived drama series, one of the executive producer is Aaron Spelling... The story is derived from a book call The Masquerade or something like that. It's about different clans of vampires and also a prince to rule them all.. They call their leader prince... I dunno why.

I remember while I was young(which is like 13 years old? Now 11 years difference) I watched the show as if it was very interesting. Now that I watched it on dvd again, I find that the storyline sucks!! I think is because of Aaron Spelling... trying to mix abit of Beverly Hills inside?? Cos the supporting female character and the prince fell in love too early, I was like what the hell happened between them that they suddenly kiss and all... it's absurd!

But after 11 years have passed, I still like the main actor, that is the prince... he is still as charming as ever.. or maybe my taste remain quite the same. His name in the show is Julian Luna and his real name is Mark Frankel who died in a motorcycle accident. He was riding on the motorbike... This remind me of an incident which happened after I got to know that he passed away not long after...

One day while i'm still a 13 year old teenager, I was reading 8 Days and was reading on the letters and comments page which is rather front... There was this letter asking how come Kindred: The Embraced is being cut off suddenly and there weren't anymore shows on it? The reply was: It didn't have high rating on the TV list over at US plus the actor Mark Frankel died in an accident. When they announced the news, his death was only like 1-2 days old.
The moment I read that, I immediately became so shocked! And then tears started to pour out of my eyes...I cried rather painfully, my heart was in pain! No kidding... I'm not pulling things out of proportions here... Then... when i listen to any sad songs... I cried cos it remind me of him.
I forgotten when did I has that dream, on the day I found out he passed away or maybe 1-2 days after I knew. I had this dream, whereby I was invited to this gothic castle and I'm being led to the dinning room where they have long long tables. I was being seated just beside the so-called "president seat" at the front. There were candles alot of them around all on some nice victorian style candle stands, everything emitting this warm cozy color...on the table, there are food and all, it was like an invitation for me to have a feast or something! And there on the "president seat" sat the prince! Julian Luna!!! Mark Frankel!!! I was awe stricken and at the same time happy... He didn't say a word but just give me a warm smile. He seems to tell me that he is ok now and I shouldn't be too sad for him. And then my dream ended.

I didn't really think of him when I went to sleep... Maybe it was due to my grief and desire that I dreamt of him. I told one of my colleagues, AV, he said higher chance that he came and "visit" me as he didn't died too long ago. And also because of the grief he could feel from me, he could project his "yi nian" even to faraway places like Singapore. Plus when I was in the dream with him, he didn't even say a word, AV said that mostly the dead "visit" you, they normally won't speak a word. And also I am not his relatives or friends yet I felt such sadness for him was more of the reason that he visit me. If he really came by and visit me, I'm really flattered and happy. And also I think his invitation for me to have a big feast is his way to say his final good bye to me. I know i'm being silly and illogical and superstitious and etc etc... But.. I choose to believe the latter theory. =(

About Sandals...

As promised to agwenalist... I got something to blog about... that is sandals! hehehe! One thing to note that is I quite like to collect shoes. Sorry but not heels ok =)

One month earlier, CCNP~ians wanted to buy Birkenstock from an online shopping website as we can all save if not alot then some shipping fees. So together we have purchase them and they have arrived. But I haven't got a chance to meet them yet so I can't get my sandals. But here is a picture of it!

Ok as you know that Birkenstock has some series that are design by Ms Heidi Klum(She is some supermodel or something right?) I saw the gold and silver series design that agwenalist will love, hehe.. anyway my point is... those sandals design by ms supermodel has price tags that are outrageous! @_@

ok... now coming to boots... Boots is under Footprints which is also under Birkenstock. It's quite difficult to find boots that have flat heels or almost-flat heels. If you shop around in Singapore, almost all the boots have high heels which isn't my cup of tea. Luckily Footprints sell most of them with flat heels! =D

Ok I think the design of the boots aren't really astonishing or super nice. But I kind of like the simple feel of the boots =) And they have black color for the boots above which are quite nice too! But i prefer brown. Oh the second design La Rochelle Brown Antique reminds me of Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2 cos of the boots she wears in the game! XD Maybe I should buy that instead to relive the days huhuhu! Cosplay anyone? XD

To let me choose I think I will buy Duchess and Sestriere Brown Antique! But it's too expensive for me to buy! I guess I can dream of wearing it or something right? ;)

Something I overheard at FM 93.3

Hmm... as I'm taking a ride back to home from my granny's house, the radio was playing this programme segment about japanese singers and all... The DJ was saying that one of this boy band call "放 浪 兄 弟 " (Waves Brother? O.o), the main singer call "顺" is leaving the band? And the fans are all so devestated... The reason for him leaving is because the band is always singing R & B and dunno what genre of songs that he is so sick of it that he decided to leave the band. I don't know what kind of songs he prefer to sing. He proclaim that if he continues to stay in the band and sing what the band wants then he will lost himself. You know 自 我 otherwise known as identity...

It's quite sad for him to leave the band I guess.. and the band members sure does feel the same. But 天 下 无 不 散 之 宴 席 . People leave and go... that's life. I don't even know this boy band and yet I feel sad for them... Today I'm feeling 愁 畅 (sad, emotional) about things. (._.)

SS & B.T.B

Ok.. so here I am working in SS...

It all started when Jean told us that the company she was working in were going to hire soon for the upcoming project call B.T.B 2. Upon hearing it, I was quite thrilled to go about applying for the job. My portfolio wasn't ready and all but I don't care anymore as I need a job desperately plus this job is something I want to do! It somewhat resemble the job that I once had at the now de-funct SI!

While I was working for CCNP, I tried to apply to some other companies, had 2 job offers but then whenever I asked Mat and Iszy for their opinions on things, they think it's not really good, so I decline their offers. I really thank my lucky stars for being able to get into SS.

Too bad Jean no longer worked over there as there were some issues. PP and Monica tried for the company and PP got into the company! Unfortunately Monica was too over qualified for the job so... (._.) Monica did worked for CCNP but after 3 days, she realised she don't really like it so she quitted. Mat and Iszy said she is really a wonderful worker though! It's a pity =(
But now she found herself a job already! It's for some event company! So I am happy for her.

B.T.B is a 11 min animation for kids 3-6 years old. The show shows how you can build up characters with just junks. But there are story lines as well.

Overall, I would say the company environment is really great! The people there do share what they know with you. I worked under the Photoshop Team, my leader JS is really a very nice person. And so are all my team mates! There are JD, IR, ML and AV. Among these few, I got along well with AV the most! He loves to play games too and has a very peaceful temperament. Which means I can bully him whenever I like and he still won't get angry! I also nicknamed AV as Mr Sobe or BoBo (Yes it's the character that Zoe Tay acted as in the early 90's drama show call "San Mian Xia Wa")
Mr Sobe san loves to watch HK drama series and those classic old school channel 8 drama series like "Qing Chun 1-2-3"! The other day we were trying to remember how to sing the theme song! XD Occasionally we discuss on them and the theme songs. But what we talked most about are games =)

JD... Well, I don't quite like him... because he usually talk alot of crap. And he is one passe ah beng still alive around here. I mean who still behaves like an ah beng? He loves to wear black singlet, he is tall and lanky and his hair is quite long and always falling into his face. He just disgust me. Last time when the Photoshop team only have the 2 of us, he usually likes to come to my place to brag how much he had finished. There was once he and me, we were talking to the receptionist and he actually told the recep that he just ORD and still can finished alot of stuff at such a fast rate, indirectly saying to her that I'm the slow tortoise here... Now his nonsense seems to decline ( I thank my lucky stars again!) as he went over to other team mates to disturb them LOL =p There is one thing about him though, he put alot of enthusiasm in the things he is interested in.

ML... She can be quite talkative at times... But she isn't someone who will brag about how fast she has finished her work like the one above. Sometimes she can be quite mean with her words. Like being harsh, when I reply her something she will just say "(the thing i reply), your head ah!" in your face with a very harsh tone... er i just don't get it... She likes to come to my place to make small chat.. One important thing to take note is... My place is an open spot for the recep to see, the recep is kind of like the spy so.... you know it isn't very nice...

IR.... she is a nice girl but we don't really have alot to talk about. That's all that I can comment on her. Hahaha...

Other than that we have the animation dept, vfx dept, compositor dept and video editor. Also we have 2 tech directors who will help to solve any problems with the animation and rigs. Then we have the design dept and model working workshop dept.

Just the other day, JD actually uses my name to ask the recep to postpone the date of the T-shirt design. Our company have organise a T-shirt design competition so that we can all come up with design and submit to them. The staff will get to vote which design is the best. Best design will win $100 and runner up $50. Yes I know the price isn't attractive at all.. but I guess it's better than nothing!
Right so Mr JD actually told us that he asked the recep using my name to postpone the date for the Tshirt design so...

Me: Wa why you use my name?
(Then he quickly defend himself by saying)
JD: I'm just helping you only. I can finished my T-shirt design today one but i'm just lazy.
ML: Ya next time just use her name to ask for everything (see what i meant? This is what ms ML loves to do.)
Me: Er keep using my name then wait tarnish my reputation....
JD: You still got reputation meh?
ML: Ya lo?

Again indirectly, he is pointing fingers at me that
I AM THE ONE WHO CAN"T FINISH THE T-SHIRT DESIGN!!!

The funny thing is... I didn't even mention to him that I can't finished my T-shirt Design... How did he know that I can't finished my T-shirt design? That sleazy lying no-good rat! Just because you can't finished it doesn't mean you can use other people's name to ask for the postponing of the deadline.

I absolutely hate it when people gang up to "bully" me... like the above conversation... PLS my dear friends who are reading this... Don't do these to me if you are my true friend cos seriously I HATE IT TO THE CORE... If you are doing that to me and I'm all smiles to you, I'm just acting, I actually wishing you are dead or something in my heart.
Do I have a look that says "I'm Weak Come Bully me if you are free". No I don't have so.... but of course apparently some of my team members just don't get it you know!
And that JD.. I HATE HIM!!!

Ok My leader JS has a very good buddy call KH... who is one of the Tech Director.. they are nice people... and they love to.... DIET! Yes they are even worse than girls! They don't eat lunch and they go to gym and exercise. They are not ultra fat. Actually KH does look abit fat last time but now he look slim! So they are the diet crew! LOL which I always laugh at them about.

Animators dept, there are alot of them around... I don't really talk to them alot but they are a bunch of fun people. =) Nice people too! Jay is working among them too.

VFX dept, what can I say about them? Nothing! Haha cos I don't talk to them much. Well, there is one guy CH who look like Mr Incredible cos of his ultra square chin!

Compositor dept, never talk to them alot so I don't know much but there is one guy M who look rather cute and is a DJ (sorry not my type).

Model workshop, PP is working in there as a design assistant. Actually she helps out the design dept and model workshop too. CS is a nice person too along with DV and AB =)

Design Dept, Well Jay know someone in there call JR... he is an england ungus dungu! They way he speaks singlish is just so funny! Yup he is a very funny guy. There is also CT who is an eurasian who have a twin sister and WH.

Last but not least there is the art director CMR... chinese nickname for him is "Jin Ma Lun". Exe Producer is JK. That's quite a "brief" introduction to the people above.

Oh ya one more thing to add in. I usually lunch in the office, I find that the weather is so unbearable nowadays. Plus I can save alot of money if I bring home cook food!

How I wish agwenalist is with me here in the office so she can witness all the unjust things JD and ML did to me. Oh well, that's impossible too.. if she is in the co. she will be busy in the other room =( ok to end it all here is something from B.T.B:


Yes their mouth are slanted side ways cos of its style but deep down in my evil heart I always think they are spastic and retard that's why. Ok I'm sorry...
